Anauxanopetalum schwenkii Teijsm. & Binnend.
It is a large tree up to 45 m tall. The bole is up to 70 cm in diameter. The buttresses are up to 3 m high.
Swintonia schwenkii is reported in primary or, rarely, in secondary lowland and hill forests. It is found in mixed dipterocarp or keranga forests, up to 700 m of altitude.
Wood diffuse porous. Tangential diameter of vessel lumina 200 micras or more (large). Tyloses common. Vessels per mm2 5 to 20. Vessel-ray pits reticulate and/or foraminate. Simple perforation plates. Intervessel pits large, 10 micras or more. Axial parenchyma in marginal or in seemingly marginal bands. Axial parenchyma reticulate. Prismatic crystals in chambered axial parenchyma cells and/or in fibers. Axial parenchyma in narrow bands on lines up to 3 cells wide. 4 to 10 rays per mm (medium). Rays exclusively uniseriate. Silica bodies in the ray cells. Homogeneous rays and/or sub-homogeneous rays (all ray cells procumbent). Body ray cells procumbent with one row of upright and/or square marginal cells (Kribs-III).

The heartwood is generally grayish-white, pale red-brown or gray-brown with a pink tinge. The sapwood is not clearly differentiated from the heartwood and is often pale gray-brown with pink tinge.

The wood is rated as non-durable in exposed conditions, but it is reportedly moderately durable to durable under cover.
