Natural Distribution

In Brazil it is reported in Espirito Santo, Minas Gerais and Bahia states.

Wood Identification

Anatomic Description Of Wood

Tyloses common. Vessels per mm2 less than 6 (rare). Axial parenchyma in continuous tangential lines (included in reticulate and scalariform). Occasionally pith fleck. Prismatic crystals in chambered axial parenchyma cells and/or in fibers. Silica bodies in the ray cells. Occasionally heterogeneous rays and/or multiseriate heterogeneous rays.
