Botanical Description

The commercial lengths are reported to vary from 8 to 19 m, with a diameter of 60 cm in the average. The logs are straight and cylindrical, with buttresses up to 4 m tall.

Natural Distribution

B. huberi is found in the Brazilian Amazonia, it is reported in the Tapajos National Forest in the Para state.
