Lamination of this species is possible.

Maquinado general

Machining of this species is reported to be easy.

Cepillado

Planing operations are rather easy.

Taladrado

Bored surfaces of air-dried timber are rough probably because of the presence of interlocked grain.

Clavado

The nailing behavior of this wood is considered as good to fair, pre-boring recommended.

Encolado

It glues well but some difficulties are reported with alkaline glues.

Acabado

For exterior applications preliminary application of DD varnish is recommended, then a transparent or clear varnish.
